Svendborg Municipality currently rents out 16 leases to 21 cultural partners in the former shipyard buildings on Frederiksø. It's a unique system where tenants pay rent through activities and invite citizens and tourists to participate in the many programms that they offer. All the creative workshops invite people to participate in workshops and courses on an ongoing basis.
Food and drinks
On Frederiksø you can enjoy both food and drinks. Bogholderiet offers a wealth of speciality beers, Frederiksøens Madbar (Foodbar) serves gourmet burgers and crispy fish dishes, while Kammerateriet offers indoor parties on weekends and a lively outdoor beach bar during the summer.
Hire a boat, kayak or bike
From Frederiksø you can also be active in the beautiful surrounding nature. Hire a boat and sail out on the Svendborg Sound on your own, or go on an adventure in a kayak or on a SUP board. You can also hire a bike and explore Svendborg and the surrounding area on two wheels.
