Culinary experiences
I could suggest a lot of great culinary experiences in Svendborg. I think the city is undergoing a tremendous gastronomic development with great diversity. Therefore, this is only a small selection of what can be recommended.
Personally, I really enjoy lunch at Vester Skerninge Kro. It's a very unique place with fantastic hospitality.
If you want to try something very authentic and treat yourself to a gastronomic stay that has the whole package, Broholm Slot is really worth the trip. Stella Maris is also undergoing a really exciting development with a new talented chef and competent service. I look forward to experiencing that myself in the future.
Culture
I've had the pleasure of challenging myself and my staff at Gorilla Park and it was a truly thrilling experience. With a welcoming and friendly staff that manages to maintain a sense of safety even in the midst of the most adrenaline-inducing challenges, it's a place that stands out.
In addition, Kulinarisk Sydfyn (Culinary South Funen) organises a lot of fantastic events that are worth mentioning. Throughout the year, different events pop up, all centred around gastronomy, but often in quirky and different ways. You should definitely keep an eye on their site and stay up to date on the events.

Nature
Up in Egebjerg Bakker you'll find some fantastic and unique hiking routes. You should treat yourself to a trip to Rødme Svinehave and experience the special landscape, or take a walk up the stairs to the top of Egebjerg Mølle, a beautifully restored mill, where a unique view awaits.
Otherwise, a hike through Syltemade Ådal is very beautiful, especially in the summer.

A walk over the Svendborg Sound Bridge is almost like being in a living postcard.
The uniqueness of Svendborg
It doesn't sound like much, but a over the Svendborg Sound Bridge overlooking the city and the South Fyn Archipelago is almost like being in a living postcard. I also love Svendborg for its inclusiveness and diversity.
When I have guests visiting
I like to show all of the above places to my guests. The most important thing is that you take the time to visit the city and spend several days here. There are so many unique places that together make Svendborg so special.
